Why We Do It
PanGeo Education is made up of educators, dedicated to students learning more about the world, and more about themselves through that. We want all students to have access to great learning opportunities, that guide them to creating a more equatable, just, and sustainable world. We work with teachers, districts, and organizations to build tool kits for social justice and sustainability education.
Meet the Team
Fenglan Nancy Yi-Cline
Co-Founder & CFO
Fenglan Nancy Yi-Cline started teaching in 1999 and has 13 years of classroom teaching experience. For the last five years, she has coached preservice English language learner, English language arts, and World Languages teacher candidates and mentored novice and veteran teachers in all subjects across all grade levels. She has taught in Florida, China, and Washington State. Her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington and is focused on integrating the funds of knowledge of marginalized communities into the curricular and pedagogical space.
Co-Founder & CEO
Mike Cline is a social studies and sustainability educator with over 16 years of experience teaching in Florida, China, and Washington State. He has an M.A. in Sustainability from the Patel College of Global Sustainability and is focused on sustainability education, explaining complex issues in engaging ways, and ensuring all students have access to success.
